What are your thoughts on Purple Dodge Charger's? Can anyone post any pictures? I like this color

plum500

I like Plum Crazy on 3rd gens in particular. My 71' is going to be plum -- seats have purple inserts, and I have a set of illuminated purple fuzzy dice to round it all out :D

Charger1973

My 73 will be Plum Crazy with the factory white interior.  I like the purple/white together.

This is not my car but it shows how good they look in purple.

Was it only 1970 that purple was offered out of the 1968 - 1970 Dodge Charger's?

Blown70

I believe only in 1970 and later meaing 1971-1972 etc.

Plumcrazy

Plum Crazy was available in 70 and 71.

It's not a midlife crisis, it's my second adolescence.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I just purchased a 70 Charger 500 original purple FC7 car a couple of days ago.
There was a guy on this board who had a plum crazy  70 Charger with old style torque thrust wheels on it.

The '70 Satellite I just picked up for a "father son" project is an original plum crazy car (which I thought was odd for a Satellite?).  I want to put it back to its original color (someone had painted it black at some point but left the trunk, jams and under hood the original purple).  My son however wants me to paint it yellow, like my car.

What do you say to a four year old that wants his car the same color as Daddy's?  :rotz:
