All that money spent on wheels, tires, suspension mods, & whatever else it took to do that, you'd figure he'd spring for the $26.95 on the rubber strip for the front bumper to fill all those holes like the ones in his head.

Do the deck lid spoiler and fake fender vent mean that thing used to be a T-type?  If this was ancient Greece, there would be some kind of car god who'd scoop those morons up and turning them into pillars of crap coated epoxy or something.

Brock Samson

 "crap coated epoxy"?...

...That's just funny Ghoste...

the modern equilvilant of a tar and feathering?..

you would be hard pressed to think of a justification though...

...like, for doing that?

I can't wait until the stupid stick-on hoodscoop fad goes away too.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

chrisII

i saw a black motly carlo of similar vintage drivin round town with wheels/tires like that this week really looks lame to me.

Wakko

The GNX louvers were horribly installed but it does wear a GN spoiler.  No, this is not a turbo car...just a plain jane Regal.

I see those all the time. I'll be on the freeway and see some taillights in the distance and I'll know the car is a muscle car, so I speed up to see it and the last 3 times I've sped up I saw ether Chevelle or Riviera on those huge wheels. It's so ugly. I had one come up behind me and I thought it was an old ford pickup... nope it was a Chevelle up on 27"s gorse!

At lease that are sticking to the General Motors for now.

There was a guy in my auto electrical class that had an 87 Buick LeSabre 4 door on like 22 inch rims... my friend drove a LeSabre for 4 months after he wrecked his truck, and was saving money for his current car. he got the LeSabre for free because the guy left it in a parking lot and wanted someone to drive it away before he got a ticket for dumping the car... when my friend saw the guy in my electrical class... he just about fell over laughing at the guy. It was hard to ignore him not to piss off the guy in my class.

I saw my first one about two years ago on tybee island on vaca near Savannah Georgia. It was an early '70's Delta 88 or some  such boat. It was a convertible with 22s coming at me on the highway. I laughed and laughed. My family thought it was funny too, but I hadn't laughed that hard in years. Whatever floats your boat! People probably laughed at my Daytona but I wasn't aware of it! This guy driving that Olds KNEW I was laughing at him, but I couldn't help it.

Unfortunatly, yes.  And the 300s.

That thing is undrivable. Look at the spacing between the rubber bands and the rims, or the rubber bands and the body of the car... Assuming you could get the tire to turn, crushing your fender and quarters in the process; the rubber band would likely roll off the rim.

I've seen similar, but never that stupid.

On the subject, I've seen a '68 Polara up on 19" spinners over in Ark-kansas before. I wanted to shoot the car to put it out of it's misery; it was practically begging for it. "Kill me... Kill me!"
