I went to South Lake Tahoe last weekend with some friends. We went to the Renaissance Fair, but I forgot my camera... sorry no pictures. But I took some of the House at the bottom of Emerald Bay. They had a Garage and a "Self Serve" gas pump circa 1920's and 30's. In the Garage was a Dodge Brothers Coupe!

Where did you stay while you were there SirNik?  I've been there before with my mother and step father and we stayed at ridge Tahoe but visited state line at least 4 times during the week stay, and gambled about 3 times.

That is one nice town and lots to see.  Did you go on the S.S. Dixie across Lake Tahoe to Emerald Bay?  we did!  our stay was in the first week of May the year that we went, and it snowed on us twice while we were there.   No skiing though!  Also made a day out of traveling around the lake....pretty cool!!

We stayed at the Motel 6 in south lake tahoe, the city... it wasn't bad... but not the best. the town was cool. i didn't get the gambel because all my friends are 20 i'm the only one that was old enough to gambel so they voted down my idea of goign to the casinos.

Big Lebowski

Very cool dude, I hang out at the top of Palomar mountain with a view of the big white observatory, the trees look the same up there.
"Let me explain something to you, um i am not Mr. Lebowski, you're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the dude, so that's what you call me. That or his dudeness, or duder, or you know, el duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing."

Wow, glad you had a great time -- let me tell you that there are a whole bunch of things for a 20 y.o. to do.  I could tell stories for years about the time I spent at Tahoe.  Learned to scuba, to hobie cat, to snow and water ski, to chase girls in a 71 charger r/t, to experiment with illegal things, to bbq tomatoes.  Found a treasure trove of filled Well's Fargo Bank bags about 30 feet underwater while they were filming Godfather 2 about a hundred yards away.   Went for another dive right when the LA cops had surrounded the SLA hideout and the firefight began --- thought they had got Patty Hearst.  Got rescued by the MS. Dixie (they called the coast guard who took us to the Singer Sewing Machiine estate at about 10 at night -- radioed ahead and the whole beach light up -- what a site) when my Hobie cat turtled and I had a nice but too skinny person with me -- just could not right that boat.  And on, and on, and on, don't want to bore anyone.  Tahoe, great times.  Kim
