A guy that restores GL's is your hero? You must have some real crappy goals in life. 

BTW, What's the difference if the GL1 rolls out restored as opposed to the GL Clone 5,000,000,000? They all look the same. I don't see how it's at all exciting? They should have left it "As Is". Maybe I need to visit S.Jersey a little more to understand the whole fascination.

i personally always liked the dukes of hazzard but man some people don't seem to get it. it was just a tv show and nothing more. there are a lot of people i think that actually believe the dukes is some sort of cult following and that the world should revolve around it!! i think there are just so many people that don't have a concept of reality and non reality and yes the comment about all of the general lee's looking the same is soooo true!! some of these bone heads seem to think they have the perfect general lee( i have talked to some and their car is perfect ). i mean come on people get a  life!!!

I'm sure we all use the "F" word from time to time.  I know I do but this is an open website and kids use it as well as adults.  It's just common courtesy therefore not to drop the F-bomb or write a bunch of cuss words in your threads.  Not everybody wants to read a bunch of cuss words and crap when they come here.  You could have made your poiunt just as easily without putting the big bold F-bomb in there.  Nobody's trying to "scare" you they're just trying to tell you to use some common sense.

Be afraid, be very afraid, most all of us use that word me the most probably, but on a site like this try and have ''SOME CLASS''.

I think T Bell is merely cashing in on his dukes knowledge/know how and making money off the Duke lamers out there. Look at all the people flock to the dukefests. Its simply business for him. Waste a 69 Charger and make tons of money beyond the value of the car. He dont care about the General Lee, a 69 Charger or the Dukes. He invests in a Charger and jumps it and totals it and then rakes in the cash from all the lamers that show up to a dukesfest. And then the lamers make excuses for him that the Charger was in bad shape and full of bondo blahblahblah while real people that love the 69 Dodge Charger are hunting for any piece or part taken or cut away from a parts car to rebuild one. If it will roll or run and drive its in good enough shape to be restored.


Dont get me wrong. I like The Dukes and the General Lee but all this Dukes hype is starting to get old. It was neat the first few times when they got some of the cast members together but now its simply a deal setup for Profit.

I think it's cool restoring LEE1 and all that but T. Bell is setting himself up for a payday in November.    In spite of some peoples opinion... the Dukes has gotten to be a bit of a cultural icon so I'm not gonna go around knocking it too much.
Yes,  restoring it is the right thing to do in my mind.    It was downright embarrassing to go looking at that heap at Carlisle a few years ago...  I'm sure T. Bell got paid to bring it there too.

I'm not some super geek  but I watched the show back when and I own a couple dvd's and a diecast.
