You can see 3 other of my favorites 66 GTA Convertible , a 65 442 Convertible( 64 GTO Convertible matching number tri-power 4 speed under restoration) and of course my 72 Rallye

 Love that 64 Jim, For me it would be a toss up between the 64 and 67s. I sold my 64 LeMans along time ago and wish I still had it. Would like to see pics of that when its done.

To me it is:

1) The era - 1964-72
2) Power to weight of 12 to 1 minium

I've always wondered this myself, I would say it's the era, 1964 - 1973, although being from England any American car with a V8 is usually referred to as a muscle car

yeah i always had a soft spot for cougars...
for years i had my eye on a red one of these that was parked across form my 'Ol Junior High school, for ten years,.. but it dissapeared about the time i started looking for a Car to restore... that car turned outto be a '69 R/T S.E.

i would have to say,70 GS stage 1
kinda before the "era" but,a 62-63 421 SD factory lightweight catalina,would be a vicious ride.
stretch back well before the "era",a 57 300C ragtop 2X4 and a 4spd. sweet.
