Oh, man, whoever was in that Coronet could not have survived!

And that poor horse!!!  Wonder how that one happened.

Khyron

i'm going to call  :icon_bs: on that horse pic.

not phay.... no way in hell is that real. The horse would have gone over it. not in it. the physics alone make me not believe it.

Look along the horse's rear left leg, all the way along the length of its leg, reflected in the paint, is the reflection of the leg.   A photo chop usually couldn't do this or wouldn't go to that trouble if they could.   Also, you can barely see the horses neck/or head up in there, that wouldn't be chopped in a photo.   Why   couldn't the horse go through the windshield?   People do all the time, in the other direction, of course.

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

SeattleCharger

The reflection on the other leg is harder to make out, I don't know.

Those deer pics are pretty crazy. That durrango roof didn't stand up very well.

Oh & thanks for the big pop-up fest on that Snopes link. :moon:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I live about 10 miles from where the deer went through the durango.  Believe it or not a moose once jumped off that same bridge in the background of that picture.

Cop walked away with black eyes from the airbag after car hit tree FIVE FEET in the air (the circles on the tree shows where the wheel and quarter panel impacted it).     Yes, I have more pics of this crash...along with lots more from different crashes.

Dang drunk cops! :icon_smile_big:

the gtx was a crash test car. it was used to show what it would be like if a train was to hit a car at I think 40 miles an hour.

Are you sure about that? I remember the Charger crash test car, but a train vs car crash test seems rather pointless.

looks more like a '68 Firebird you pointed out - too smooth of curves  :icon_smile_big: chargers are more blunt

hm - I call BS on the horse in Focus pic too - look along the A-pillar of the windshield - where there should be black paint, there's just a fuzzy blur  :yesnod:

The story I read somewhere is that some kid (or kids) were in that car back in the early 70's. The occupants in the car died & the police had the car on display for a while, to help bring some realization to young minds about taking unnecessary chances.

This makes a great wallpaper... :D

This is sort of an accident but not bloody.   I was there, it happened about a mile from my house, and I heard the driver scream something about ballast.   They had the truck dried out and at the show that evening. When I get home I hope to post some pics of my first 71 r/t after I stupidly ran into the back of a car on a trailer while going an ungodly speed -- youth is really, really dumb sometimes.   http://monsterphoto.iwarp.com/cardif.htm

Okay, here is one of the one I wrecked.  Bought it new in 71, plumb crazy, had the infamous luggage rack, and I ran it into someone.  Stupid.  Kim

Well, at least it floats, not quite how they prob. pictured it though, lol.

I think the easiest way to tell it is a GTX is by the front bumper and headlight bezel.  I would also agree that the car in the background is a 68 firebird. :yesnod:

BigBlackDodge

'68 Plymouth GTX. On the bottom pic just in front of the rear tire you can see the 'GTX' emblem. Firebird in the back.
