Neighbor burns neighbors Dodge P/U

Got to love my neighbors. My new neighbor, Tom a Police officer is away at school this week. His wife wanted some manure delivered to get her garden started. My other neighbor Alan says "no problem". He borrows Tom's 2005 king cab 4x4 Dodge and drives it down to the sand pit about 1/2 mile from my house (both my neighbors houses almost abut the pit). Alan parks it next to the manure pile, then walks back to his house to get his loader, as he's driving back across the pit he see's flames shooting out of the cab. By the time our volunteer fire department gets there the truck is "well done". Alan's claiming electrical fire but knowing that he smokes like a chimney, probably dropped a hot ash on the seat when he got out. I saw the truck before they hauled it away. Nothing left of the cab, seats were nothing but a metal frame and springs, definitely started in the cab. Would love to be a fly on the wall when tom gets back. ::)

I not sure what to say.  I want to laugh my ass off, but Tom is not going to be so happy when he gets this news

Why would anyone even think about smoking in someone else's truck(i smoke, but never in someone else's ride) in the first place, geesh, i hope that wasn't the case.
I hope that turns out to be what he said it was.  I don't know of any electrical fires on 2005 dodges though. ???

I think he was banging the wife in the truck..............had to burn the evidence because of a unsightly stain that occured I am sure

Must just be a Quad Cab. They don't make a Club cab anymore and the Mega cab didn't come out until 2006.
