Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Nice car, but the UK's gas prices over there must suck. I wonder what those chaps use for 100 octane gas over there? I think their cheap gas is $6.50 a gallon. My Charger gets the good gas, it won't run on 87 octane.

That looks like the factory color known as SS-1 yellow, which I'm not real fond of, but to each his own. There's no such thing as Daytona yellow, least not in '68. There's got to be some rust on that thing. I have a hard time believing it's "perfect" as they say, but I've been wrong before. Also, the seats look green to me but maybe it's just a weird glare.

Is there any way you can get out to see it in person? I'd be hesitant to buy a car like this or spend that much money sight-unseen. Anyway, to answer your question, I would not be surprised to see that car sell for more than $40,000, or £21,370.17. But again, only if it's really as good as they say it is.

You've got a little more than a week to check it out if the owner will let you. If they won't let you see it I wouldn't touch it but if they do, and you're serious about buying it, I'd scoot myself down there asap and have a good look at it.

Yeah I wouldn't be able to get one yet unfortunately but i'm keeping an eye on what I can get for what money etc, RT's rarely come up for sale over here
