Got a 2nd place trophy yesterday!

What a great day for a car show in Pensacola guys- I took second place at the all MoPar event in Pensacola's historic Seville Square. 

It was a beautiful venue- perfect setting with lots of shade trees and a cool breeze coming off of Pensacola Bay.  I think there were probably around fifty to sixty MoPars there in the park.  I had the only '69 Charger.  There was a drop-dead GORGEOUS '66 Charger who won "Best of Show" at last year's event.  This year's "Best of Show" went to a jaw-dropping PERRRRRRRFECTLY MINT '70 Plymouth Superbird, valued at well over $250K.  I only wish I had taken pictures of the event  , I'm so sorry guys!

At any rate, my wife and daughter came out to cheer me on when the awards were handed out.  Our 18 month old daughter, Rhiannon, had a blast running around and clapping her hands, as I walked towards her with my trophy in hand!

A good time was had by all- can't wait for next year's event!

That's what it's all about.

The family being proud of you and your car must have felt pretty good, and is second to none. Congrats on the trophy. 

ps- Never let trophies control how you enjoy a show. If you win, you win. Just have fun and mingle with the common folk who don't own a Charger.
