I bought it for $700. in '92 just the way you see it. The car really wasn't to rusted. It was just what you see in the pics, no more. The kids I bought it from had took out the original 360 & 4spd to put in a truck, and installed a 318 and a 727. It still had the 4spd peddles though. I also had the chance to buy back the original 4spd, pistol grip shifter and console, but I never got around to doing it. The 8 pics were when I bought it. Pics 9 & 10 were the ones I took of it when I sold it in Phoenix Az. And the last pic is the Shelby I bought with the money after 4 months ::) I know... Stupid me  :brickwall:

I have a 86' GLHS myself. Awesome cars if you ask me, mine ran a 13.2 @ 109 mph with a minor tweak to the computer and a K/N filter. Plus it gets 28 mpg! True, not a *musclecar*, but still fun.

Oh, I agree totally. They will give a Corvette a run for the money. But I still rather have the Charger. We only had the Shelby a year til the wiring fried. Then it was gone too. :rotz:

Back in the day I tried to trade my 74 for a turbo Colt. Probably would have done it too if the dealer hadn't tried to pork me.

lol, I don't even remember what a turbo Colt looks like any more. Just think, would of been a real collecter now :D

Quick lil bugger, for what it was. I almost killed myself on the test drive. Hadn't heard of torque steer. Hey, why the hell is this car still going straight when I have the wheel turned three revolusions to the right!?!

I love seeing older photos, thanks for posting them. I wish I had one decent photo of my first Charger, but all I have is a shot of the roof behind another car. Other than that, I have to rely on my memory to see it & at some point I'll probably be seeing a rotted old Nova.   ::)

I take photos of everything now.
