I have a 8.75 rear end with a 904 transmission and a 318 engine.  What is the proper method for measuring the length of a 1968 Dodge Charger Drive Shaft without the yoke?  Secondly, as long as the universal joints will match up to the yoke, do I need to be concerned about the length of the yoke?  Thanks!

Drive shafts are always measured between the center of the u-joint cups. There is a specific dimension that the slip yoke should extend from the tail housing with the car sitting on its own weight.Length dimensions.jpgdriveshaft-1024x346.png

Wow...he actually chimed in to help someone rather than to be a pain in the ass.
That is great!
