dumb question hemi oil pan ?

      How many qts. does a hemi pan hold ?     should you add 1/2 qt. for the filter ?     Ken

Ken, the new hemi reproduction pan holds 6 quarts plus 1 for the filter. I believe some of the older original pans were 5 quart + 1 for the filter. Is this a new (repro) pan ?

What he said    the new Hemi pan holds more oil, here is three different oil pans. Two Hemi pans.
And one stock 383 440 HP 402 pan, You can tell which one is the new one
