Are there any "easy" replacement bulbs out there (LED or other low-energy requiring bulbs) that would just swap in to my 1970 Charger using the existing bulb sockets/connectors?

I guess now that I understand a little more about the idling/ammeter weakness of these cars, I'm inspired to reduce the load of the bulbs.  TIA   :2thumbs:

There are plenty of drop in LED bulbs out there. I use em for taillights, brake lights, and parking lights. There are retrofit LED headlights out there that would be a big help, but I haven't tried any yet

Thanks.  What brand or supplier did you use?

Thank you.  What brand or supplier do you recommend (for bulbs and flashers please)

At the time I didn't like the design of what any of the name brands were offering, so I got some off eBay. There's a bunch on there, but the ones I like are kinda like a corncob with LEDs all around and on the end.

The flasher is pretty critical, I got lucky with the first one I tried, but after that one stopped working I haven't had good luck finding one that works properly with LEDs. A 1968 Charger has 2 bulbs on each side, so with my current flasher I had to change one of the two bulbs back to a regular 1157, and now it works fine
