Pertronix Flamethrower 2 issues

Dear all,

I hope you can support or give me an advice to what i should be looking for

Made myself a present and wanted to upgrade the orange box to the Pertronix Flamethrower with the Ignitor module 2

Removed the ballast, installed the Flamethrower 2 coil but i get no spark to the plugs

- i have 12 volts on the coil
- distributor is grounded - 0.1 ohms to the battery

If i hook up the timing light on the coil to dist wire, i get the timing light flashing
If i put the light on any cylinder, i dont get any flashes of the timing light

Also tried another 0.6 ohm rated coil - still the same

Wonder if the unit i got is faulty / gap from the rotor to the pick-ups is wrong

Any input what i could look for?

Engine is a 70 / 383 and was running before with the orange box

Check the rotor.

What do you mean when checking the rotor?

Rotor resistance to ground?

A You put it back in. B it conducts center to edge.

Checked the rotor - also fine ...

Any other clue?

The button on the cap's center and maybe lift the rotor's tang that contacts it.
