Really?
Come on, man....I thought that there might be something we agree on.
What about it bothers you?
If you mean the adjustment we all go through to deal with it right after the time change, I do get that. It doesn't bother me the least THIS time of year. I absolutely HATE it in the fall when we go from a sunset around 5:45 to 4:45. Holy crap that makes 8:00 PM feel like it is midnight already. I hate winters anyway so the early sunsets just exacerbate the misery.
This time of year though? I LOVE it! I don't wake up with the sun anymore like I did when I was still working. I'm active in the day and early evening. Having a sunset an hour later than it was on Friday is like finding $20 bucks in my pocket.

It's more the change than the relation to time/sun. I guess you never had to deal with a house full of teens?

:iagree:  Just leave it one way or the other.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

People who raise children aren't necessarily pedophiles.....

:iagree: I f@cking hate the change. Just pick a time and stick with it. It might make sense somewhere in america, but in Alaska it doesn't matter. We go from nearly 20 hours of darkness to effectively 20+ hours of daylight. Screwing around with the clock just one hour doesn't matter.

We don't change time and it confuses my wife. With her brother in Wyoming and a daughter in California I will be asked 100 times what time it is there. So I try to get her to remember they spring forward and fall back like the seasons

At least the dogs don't starve for the hour like they do in the fall

I like DST. If we didn't have it in June the sunrise would be at 4 AM and sunset at 7:30. When the kids were young and lived at home the extra hour was key for playing catch, bike riding, taking the dogs for a walk. Now that I'm older it helps with us attending cruise nights. I do not like driving the antique cars after dark.

Well for me in FL. as a single dad with 3 kids changing the clock right before giving exams was/is tuff. I now wake 2hr before sunrise out of habit from 50 years of construction that 10 years with the VHA couldn't erase.  :brickwall:

I spent 36 years in construction and could sleep until 11:00 AM every day.
Early sunrises are wasted on me.
My level of motivation increases and the day wears on. I feel like sitting around in the morning and doing things in the afternoon.
