I believe there is a member here that has  one.  And knows a lot about them.  I will check on his board name and get back.

I'm not a pro by any means but I know the basics and set up mine on my first 18' flatbottom ( with a blown 440 of course, wanted to go B\AF class) but it was a V drive. Headers still the same of course.
Right now I have a 20' Tahiti jet with a tame smallblock, family cruiser\ski boat.
Send me a pm and we'll chat.

I have an 18' Advantage Jet Boat with a Chevy 454 in it. Haven't run it in awhile though due to all the traveling I was doing while in the Navy. Mine doesn't have the "over the transome" type headers though. Do you know what kind of pump you have?

I think i'm the member your talking about. I got a '97 yamaha. Mine is a duel engine model and is set way differently then a regular jet boat so I can only help you out with a little bit of stuff. They are a bitch to fog in the winter so watch out and have another person to help you do it. Make sure that you clean out the jet drive every time you use it or stuff gets backed up inside it. Mine isn't in the water yet so I have no clue if It needs any work.

it's a 73 sidewinder 455 olds with a berkely jet.  i know there's a line coming out of the jet which goes into a "T" and runs in to the inlets on the water pump cover.  the water then come out of the thermostat housing into some special plumbing and valves that run to the headers.

You got a sidewinder jet boat! we had a '73 sidewinder with an inboard motor. Sidewinders are pretty rare as it is and I've never heard of them making jet boats? got some pics you can post?

That guy was Kindsvater Flat. I haven't seen him pop up here on the new board yet.
