Hi,

I have a 68 Charger 440 4 speed. 485 horse, 520ish torque, 355 gears out back. I am swapping in the Passon hemi overdrive 4 speed, and need to go from a 23 spline clutch to an 18. I have a Mcleod street clutch in there now. Any suggestions on the best brand to go with?

What type of pressure plate is your current McLeod? How many ring gear teeth? Did Jaime have any clutches available?

I'm using an old McLeod 360256 Borg & Beck type pressure plate with a Centerforce disc. I'm making almost the same power you are.

It works, but I would think there are better more modern options  :shruggy: There might be newer clutches that'll allow better shifting than the old school stuff

My friend has a transmission shop. Last we talked LUK is his go to. He said many company's paint and resell LUK components. I would talk to Passion about this.  :scratchchin:
