Hello all,

Time has come to take the 70 off thr rotisserie. Need to make a stand for the front with a couple wheels on it and put the rear end in it.

Thought easiest would be to find an old junk K member for this.

Will only a 66-79 b body bokt into a 70 charger ?

The k member to the car is already restored with suspension bolted to it.

Need to do thr body work onnthe front fenders and hood so dont want overspray ect on the restored set up.

Im hoping something other than the 66-70 bolts in there.

Thanks

I bought a 68 one time that had no front end in it but no fenders on it either
All it had was a frame made up that bolted to the 2 front bumper bumper bolts on each side that went down to the ground with a cross bar under it

It might be easier to make something up like that and you could put a couple wheels on it if you wanted to move it around at all then fool around trying to find another K frame

PS  I did try it on my 70 when I was putting mine together but the bumper bolts have a different spacing

A correct 70 setup should not be so hard to find. Belvederes... Coronets,  4 doors, Station Wagons....

For the temporal bolt in, Probably all E bodies and B bodies up to 72. Definitely not 73 and laters. But having an E body last name won't make it cheap LOL
