This has been on display at a few car shows. Pretty cool.

Those things are cool. 

They built 3/8ths models because that was before anybody was wind-tunneling full size cars.  The smaller scale was easier to deal with and gave them more wind tunnel time. 

When they did tunnel testing on full-size wing cars, they had to build a custom slanted rig to lower the cars down from above.  The opening in the ceiling wasn't big enough to lower a car down through when it was sitting horizontal.
