I don't believe I have the correct set up on my 74 charger. The jets come out from under the backside of the hood, and can't get them to contact the glass. While researching someone mentioned they are attached to the arms. Is this correct?

Unfortunatelly I can't post pics of my assembly since my car is 6500 miles from me, but... yes, 74 is a diff setup from earliers being attached to wiper arms. Wiper arms are also slightly diff to accept the nozzles and hoses. Cowl panel also diff with a provision for a conector. The underhood connector is also diff, being Y shaped instead T shaped, althoyt T shaped will work.

I'll try to collect pics and post.

This is the conector clipped on cowl panel. You should find a squared hole to fit this piece on driver side. Just for the driver side wiper arm hose. Passenger side keeps free

OH and it should be also an O shaped "wire clip" down the hood to route the driver side hose.

Just like this

Ok, found the factory diagram

Althought the Y circled shows a connector and not the O shaped clip. As far I recall my 74 parts catalog shows the O shaped one just to route the hose throught the hole.

Thanks Nacho, I think I don't have the original arms. Can't check now because of busted elbow but once I'm back on the road I will look. If I don't have correct arms who can they be sourced from? I looked at Classic Industries and they don't mention hoses/jets in arms. Again many thanks.

Nacho-RT74

Well, I posted the ones from eBay LOL... so that's a source. Maybe somebody around here or some other board can get you some cheaper.

Forget about get them new. That doesn't exist into the Mopar world. We are not working on a Mustang, BelAir or Beetle LOL.

Nacho, I didn't realize they were live links at first. Thought they were screen shots. Thanks a lot. Just bought the arms. These parts are almost impossible to find up here. Tim.

Nacho-RT74

Every link I posted of the parts involved comes from sales/sellers.

Except, as mentioned the clip for hose route, which on THAT diagram shows a connector, but on my APRIL 74 parts manual shows the O clip as far I recall, hence why I got the one I posted.
