Just curious, how many orange 68 Chargers were produced? RTs? Anyone here own one? Got to thinking, i haven't seen many over the past few years at national shows

Never saw one from the factory, but anytime I think of an orange 68, I think of my friend who had this car in High School. His was bright orange but originally red.   :icon_smile_big: Screenshot 2024-12-27 085024.png

Orange wasn't available in '68 but could be special ordered by anybody at extra cost using the paint code 999. I doubt if there are any verifiable numbers of those.

Then there were the Bengal Chargers:

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

What about the Bengal chargers? They had a black vinyl top but I'm fairly sure they were orange paint. I know they were special ordered so i'm assuming they fall under the 999 paint code.

Yes, I know I have too many cars. My wife reminds me daily.
