Magnum 500 restoration

I'm in the middle of a full restoration on my 69 charger. My car originally came with steel wheels and full hubcaps, which are still with the car, however one of the few changes from factory I'm going to do is put magnum 500's on the car.
I was able to buy an original set of mopar magnum 500 rims from a guy that pulled them off of his 69 roadrunner when he added Cragars.
The rims are in decent shape but need restoring.
Can anyone help me out with the best way to go about restoring these? If I remember correctly the silver part of the rims weren't polished but had a finish on them; the black is a satin finish?
Is there any product out there that replicates the correct silver?
I know the masks available out there are highly recommended when it comes to painting.
Any tips or advice is welcome!

Interesting; I had no idea about the red paint on the outer edge of the brake drum that shows through the road wheels.
Lucky me, the rims came with 4 original and according to the article correct trim rings.

While the red paint band may seem great, I can't imagine that in the real world, the paint would last very long given the heat generated by braking....the paint would dry up and peel off pretty soon.

The paint seems to last longer than one would think but not in its original brilliance.

Fascinating, does anyone have pictures of calipers painted in this manner?

They make high temp paint in red, could use that instead if worried about it not lasting long.

I guess but if anyone drives their cars like I drive mine, you'd still generate more heat than the paint could handle. I've seen "high temp" paint flake off of exhaust manifolds most of the time.
