Hi guys, hows it goin, wanted to upgrade the camshaft in my extreme budget 440,its pretty much stock with L2355 pistons hogged out 346 heads,it has 1 7/8th inch hookers going into 3" exhausts but stock carter avs and intake.torque converter is stock as is pretty much eveything else.ran 13.50 in the 1/4 mile (1968 charger rt)as its a solid lifter i understand that i need to budget for adjustable rockers, springs and pushrods.i do have a single plane victor 440 inlet and 850 holley if need be.enclosed a pic of the cam card.and motor as it was two years ago :2thumbs: js1024_20240825_131200.jpgjs1024_20240825_131200.jpg
I don't care what is is designed to do,I want to know what it can do.

What rear gears? I would think the AVS is gonna hold you back. Cam isn't too radical, I would expect a big improvement what with the head work, that intake and the Holley 850. I would think that's a better combo  :shruggy:

I would think a stall converter and some deeper than stock gears would be needed. An rpm intake or street dominator likely better as well. The victor intake would want deep gears and a stall to be most effective.
