Has anyone tried Mancini's Adjustable Oil Pressure Regulator? I'm going to get one and see how well it works!

will

Careful with that thing I blew the gasket out of the oil filter and coated the garage with Z-rod amsoil. Roughly 2 quarts, was a fun mess to clean up.

There's a common misconception that the pressure regulator is the only source of low pressure. If the engine demands more VOLUME than the pump can supply, all of the high pressure springs and adjusters in the world won't raise the pressure when the oil is hot.

IOW, if the oil pressure is acceptable when the oil is cold but drops too low when the oil warms up, it's not the regulator's fault...it's a lack of volume.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
