Came across this on FB if anyone was interested

That was at Granby Quebec Car Show last weekend and they had auction also, that Daytona was there for the Auction wonder what was the reserve🤔daytona vin 30 07 2024.jpg

They talk about it was going through an auction and got up to $185000 but did not meet reserve
I assume that was in Canadian money

sure ive seen a picture of a red daytona with a black top somewhere from back in the day well from the late 70s or early 80s at least  :scratchchin:

that's 194k in US dollars. Not totally out of line for a complete, running and driving car. Project Daytonas have always been pricy as so few of them are available for sale and they are the only way into ownership for the vast majority of buyers.

the oe-gold cars with NOS date coded parts likely cost that much but quality work can be had for a third of that.
