GENERAL ELECTRIC HEAD LIGHT QUESTION

I just found in my stash of parts, 2 GE large flute high beam head lights date coded 2-9. Would these be correct for a late built Daytona?  I know Superbirds used Westinghouse, not GE. Yes they work. What are they worth? WINGNUT

Is the date ink-stamped on the backside at the top? If so, then yes - I think those would be just fine for any Daytona including a late one.
 
I don't know what their value might be though, sorry.

Yes, the date codes are ink stamped. I would prefer to sell them to someone with a Daytona. WINGNUT

Pete,
 Both of my Daytonas had GE headlights with date codes of 4-9 originally.
I would like to mention that the 1969 produced headlights should have "SAE69"
above the date code. Also all this information should be printed in black ink.
If you go to page 14 you will find my Daytona restoration.
In the post #863 dated 12-9-10 and post #961 dated 5-31-11 you will find the headlight info.
