Charger door value ?

Bringing some parts to Carlisle , thinking about selling a spare door I have . The latest search I have done is that original Charger doors are pricy , AMD door shell $889 ?? I have a complete 69 passenger door , very clean , some dents ,  no door panel or upper cushion , but all else is there , vent window / window , regulator , door handle , latch , etc .
 Seen a couple on Ebay , $1,300 , $1,700 ?? Trying to get a starting point of where to price mine .

I have 2 left side and 2 right side doors in my shed also in about the same shape as yours
Always thought $500 would be a big price for one if I wanted to sell one

They are kind of big to drag a flea market unless you price it to sell so you do not have to take it home with you again

If a person wants a perfect door they would buy the amd and move all the parts from their crappy door over

Think if you tried selling it locally first and ask $800 to see if any interest would give you an idea

Pair of charger doors, rust free, the driver door was stripped & very nicely patched,
The lock hole is correct for 69-70. Can be used for 68, just relocate the hole

That assumes that the AMD doors are perfect replicas of originals.
Are they? From what I am told, they are not. They need some work in a few places but are far better than rusted or wrecked originals.

not talking about NOS here ,  real good originals

true rot free unrepaired original doors, even if they have small dents dings , are worth more than AMD repops , as with any of the bolt on panels imo , might be opening a can of worms here  repop body panels are never right with out work , well ( everything needs work ) but for a new panel far more work than you should need to do.  only use repop anything at last resort

I sold a pair in 1985 at a swap meet for $7.50 to a guy that kept looking at them all day. I said make an offer & they're yours. He said he didn't have any money except for change in his pocket. His friend checked his pocket & between both of them they had $7.50 It was worth it to see the look on their faces when I said "SOLD!"

One was dented bad & the other was clean. You'd probably want to price it higher than that in 2024. 

My guess on what they're worth now is probably in the $400 range if you actually want to sell it. Yeah, it is less than what the others have suggested but doors don't seem too rare, there are some on ebay.

I would LOVE to do that someday.
I imagine that some guy is looking at some part I have at my booth, he looks at it with the same eyes we look at a big titty stripper on the stage... (wishing I could have it but knowing that I can't AFFORD it)
Then do as you stated...throw out some unrealistically LOW price just to see the shock and smile!

So what I would get out of this , is a clean orig door even with some bodywork needed would still be preferred over a new AMD .

yes, i would rather look for a real good original door. rather than a repop
