I'd like to restore my former's Dad 1975 W126 Mercedes 280S (which was actually trying, WHILE I was still in Venezuela), and HAVE to keep on mantenience/restore my actual driver 1998 Range Rover P38 2.5DSE.

But untill I don't have my Charger finished and with me in Spain, the P38 will be a low budget "restoring" job, and the Mercedes will have to wait.

I have dabbled in cooking but haven't strayed far from beef.
Landscaping? It can be rewarding to cultivate and shape the trees and grass. I've ran tractors and felt like it is doing bodywork on a much larger scale!

  I'm going for my first brisket on my smoker for Father's Day. I'm really hoping I do it right.

-Starting on a pole barn build. 32x48x14.
-Swapping the engine in the 76 Gran Torino once the Charger is back on the road, which should be real soon.
-Once the garage is up I'll start my A-Team project, followed by the Delorean, KITT, and transforming the Ford in the Starsky and Hutch car. In no particular order.

Also building a 1/8 scale KITT, a 30+ inch Millennium Falcon, and some 3D printed stuff.

My main goal is to not die before I have at least half of my projects done!

The Neverending house stuff, had to drop 3 ash trees that had ash borer disease. Just go those cut up.

I have a 73 Jensen interceptor that I am rewiring, then I need to rewire an 85 corvette.

I'm also working on my specialist degrees for both k-12 principal and superintendent. I should be done with those by next spring.

I pulled off of the classics for a short time to work on a different car project.
My truck.
I have a short bed, regular cab 2wd Dodge. I've always liked the styling of the SRT-10 trucks like so:

I bought the side panels to recreate the look, I'm currently going through the paint process. I won't be installing the rear spoiler. The front bumper isn't available new so I'm using a cover from a SPORT model.

Carpentry.    Either something small like a phone stand for my wife, a new headboard with nightstands & lighting or a new porch on the house.

I don't mind repairing things, but I prefer to build something from scratch. Having said that, it was much nicer & less troublesome building our new garage than fixing all the crap on my house.

I've got other cars I've had for much longer than the 68 Charger.
Each one I took a different approach to building, but the joy of thinking of mods and installing them is the best part to me.

My 1998 Saleen Mustang is longest in my fleet, bought in 2002 and performed the typical bolt ons, then engines, superchargers, turbos, and ultimately arrived at the current configuration.
5.4 modular engine, with 4 Valve heads DOHC, twin 67mm turbos, Holley EFI, E85 fuel, Turbo 400 transmission.
Retains all factory creature comforts including power brakes, power steering, and cold air-conditioning in addition to full leather seats and interior.
Recently ran it and posted a best of 5.55 @ 131mph in 1/8th and 8.51 @ 166mph in 1/4 mile runs without leaning on it hard (more boost possible).



My 2003 Mach 1 Mustang I've had for over 8 years.  Engine rebuild, supercharger, E85, Tremec T56 6 speed manual.
Recently ran it and posted best of 6.63 @ 112mph in 1/8th and 10.18 @ 140mph in 1/4 mile can't get the sixty foot lower than 1.62 but doing a 6R80 auto swap soon so we'll see if it can hit 9's this year in the 1/4.



I built a 2008 Pontiac G8 GT for my wife.  Ported heads/intake/throttle body, with DOD delete and custom camshaft, Circle D converter, 3.45 gears, and headers with 3" exhaust.
Car has ran 6.90's @ 98mph in 1/8th and 11.0's @ 122mph in 1/4 mile. (all motor no power adder).

When I am not messing around with the Charger, one of my hobbies is scale RC car racing. Of course I need my own backyard track haha!  This is a work in progress as have made small changes here and there but it is mainly a 1/10 rally course but lately been racing 1/16 and 1/18 scale. 

I have a timing system that works with transponders and a phone app so I can really dial in the cars.

what RC stuff and models did you get into? before we got into firearms and range shooting (Canada laws make this rough to get into lately...) we did 1/10scale crawler stuff, plus 1/18 traxxas Revo/Slash/Rally cars back in the day. I also ended up building a 1/10 Revo2 out of parts i got online cheap before it it was cancelled as well.

As a kid I started with 1/10 models from Tamiya, that was the 80's. As a Teen I was racing at the local clubs, mostly on road 1/10, Team Associated RC10L mostly. In my 20's I was racing off road until there were no local tracks, racing team losi 1/10 buggies and trucks.

As I got older I got into nitro powered cars and trucks until the technology improved with brushless motors and lithium batteries.

I converted my Traxxas TMaxx nitro truck to a dual battery, 1/8 scale motor monster that routinely hits 70MPH without trying.

Now I just mess around with 1/16, 1/18, 1/10 rally and have recently gotten into crawlers, I have a thread on this page about my current build.

I buy and sell them to fund my new projects, mostly  just selling these days as I have about 30 Rc models currently going back to 1983 to present along with 20 bins full of old parts.  Ebay sucks now a days but I used to do fairly well selling on that platform.

that's cool, i had hit the point where i enjoyed building them more than i had time to drive them around and started to pull back from the hobby for a bit, Also at that time ended up getting my firearms licensing and getting into target shooting at the Ranges more. Luckily i did that when i did, as the law changes by the canada government in the last few years really screwed over law abiding gun owners, under the guise of "stopping gangs" while never doing a thing to actually combat them.

I do small projects, restoring gas pumps, coke machines, pedal cars, anything gas and oil. Working on my boat, house up keep. My latest project is restoring a 73 challenger.

Interesting thread.  I haven't logged in for at least a year or so.  Still have my Charger, Finishing up a Hellcat swap on it.  Also working on a 74 Bronco.  And one of the most important projects I have, my older son (10 year old) picked out a 79 Bronco to build for him.  We are freshening up a 460 EFI to drop in it now.  We are in rural Alabama so 4x4 restorations are a big thing here locally. I'm excited to pass the car hobby down to my boys, as long as they are interested and want to of course.
