Which one you consider the most recognizable one?

I'll start with these two:
-Star Wars
-Indiana Jones

heres a few that are recognizable to me & i think to many people  also a few  hear what the other guys said :yesnod:  in no particular order

Most recognizeable?  Definitely 'Jaws'.  There are generations of kids who have never seen the movies and they still know that iconic thumping shark sound.

The shark beat gets all the attention but the whole movie's soundtrack is good.  It's strong work from start to finish.

Next in line, maybe Star Wars.

George Lucas always said the soundtrack was the one area of the movie (unlike the special effects) that totally exceeded his hopes.  He thought it was a major factor in the movie's success.

Nacho-RT74

I'm actually pointing out to films not really TV shows.

Start Wars does have some particular detail some of the rest don't have... is not just the main theme who is recognized, but also each one of their characters tunes. That's hard to reach for any other.

It's funny the Pink Panther theme is actually more related to the comic than with the movie... I think at least.

You could be right but I've seen all the movies & they open with that theme.

By the way, Peter Sellers was great, I miss his movies.

Yeah well, but maybe because the comic become more universal (something like MrBean, without any language involved) and I didn't grew up in USA I set the theme more into the comic.

Still with the movie all around the world, it didn't get the attention than the comic on TV all around the world for years.

The comic is part of the opening of the movie so your not wrong.

The song "Moving in stereo" by the Cars....
I was playing Fast Times at Ridgemont High and my brother in law was passing through the hallway. When he heard the song, he screeched to a halt because THAT was when Phoebe Cates popped open her red bikini top with the water spraying in the background...

The correct song title was Moving in Stereo.

Figured you would appreciate the correction  :nana:

Kern Dog

Oooops.
Sorry for the mistake and thank you for the correction.

Nacho-RT74

Well, if talking about songs related about movie's scenes, I think this is more recognizable:

Then we can fill this blank spaces with the movies:

Born to be wild on _____________
Pretty Woman on ___________ (too obvious LOL )
Unchained Melody on _________
Old Time Rock and Roll on _____________
Bohemian Rhapsody on ________
You never can't tell on __________
The sound of silence on ____________

Great soundtracks for several movies come to mind. :coolgleamA:

Goodfellas, with "Jump into the Fire" by Harry Nilsson being my favorite with the helicopter scene. Lots of good tracks in this one.

Kids, which I never saw, but bought the CD for "Natural One" by Folk Implosion. Lots of other good songs, too.

Trainspotting, a great flick with a great soundtrack, especially "Lust For Life" by Iggy Pop.

Apocalypse Now, with "The End" by The Doors as the stand out song in the movie.
