Yes, we just had one here in New York & I read that it was a 4.8 magnitude. 

Funny thing is, I work for a site contractor & we have a lot of heavy equipment & a repair shop in the back of the building. There had been many times the mechanics would fire up a large vibratory roller & bring it inside. This thing rattles the building so everyone in my office assumed that's what happened. 

It lasted a little longer & felt different. That's when everyone here started to look at each other & wonder what was going on.

All is well in my area. Thought is the fault line in Westchester County but it turns out to be in NJ.

I did ask my son who is at home to take a look in the garage to make sure the cars on the lifts are still lifted.
