Need Help Decoding 1968 Barracuda Convertible Fender Tag

I am going to help a friend of mine sell a car soon so I took a bunch of photos of it including the fender tag. It's nothing special, just a slant six car, but we were curious about a few things with it. It was painted red but he said he doesn't believe that it's the original color.

He dismantled it, sandblasted a portion of it, started to work on it & refinished a few things but due to various reasons he had to stop. I had owned the car a long time ago & never bothered to decode the tag & sold it to him. Aside from wondering what the color was, one of the oddities is that it has a factory sway bar.

Here is the tag & a few pics of the car including when I had it 30 years ago. Any help decoding it is appreciated.

Thanks for the help.

I forwarded this to my friend & he also said thanks.  :2thumbs:

I seriously thought that he was going to get further on this car & that it would come out nice because of the 1970 Road Runner convertible he restored years ago. Age & health can be our worst enemies.

I have a few photos of his Road Runner on my computer at home that I'll post here later. He restored it back in the early 90's, did most of the work himself, drove it 3-1/2 hours to Carlisle & took second place in the stock B-Body class.  :2thumbs:

Sorry it's not outside but he was in the middle of repairing the gas tank.

It's a 383 4 speed car with a bench seat.

It is a great car & that restoration is now getting up there in age. I remember right before he started the work on it almost 35 years ago when it was still a little rough looking. It had the typical B-Body rust in the quarters, fenders, maybe the floors but had a solid frame. It also had a transplanted 440 & had a few other issues.

He dismantled it, sandblasted the whole thing in his driveway, gathered parts for it & refinished everything in his garage. He did all the work on it alone except the sheet metal & paint & I had only helped him get the 383 with the 4-speed in it. Soon after we drove to Carlisle in it the year it reached over 100 that weekend.  :o

We're planning another Carlisle but I don't know if he plans to take the car.  :shruggy:

Well, it's officially listed for sale. If I had the time & money I would buy it back from him & redo it with the original slant six.
