I spotted this small car at lunchtime last week & I was able to get a couple of pics while at the light. There was a name on the back, but I couldn't make it out. It looks like something I had seen photos of on line before, but I just can't recall where.

Also on the way to work one morning, I saw this green T/A Challenger. I just had to go around the block & get the phone cam ready so I could click off a photo. I don't know if it was a real T/A, but it's still cool to spot an old Mopar.

I've seen those electric cars at a local Dodge dealer here in LI, NY. My daughter's friend dad owns Security Dodge dealership that is around the local village beach in Amityville. I've seen a few of them being used to go down to the beach in the summer. The NY state Parks department uses them here in Jones Beach. Anyhow, I told my daughter that I never want to see her in one of those vehicles even if it's with her friends mom or dad. What just happened to Burnt70R/T (Chris) reinforces my fear.  :nono: :scared:

Bob, Was that a true Challenger T/A? any other info on it?

I don't know anything about it. I saw it on my way to work & they were just moving it on the lot to bring in that shop. When I went back at lunchtime, it was gone. I had never seen a lime Challenger in my area before, just an orange & white R/T replica. The one thing that didn't look right was that the hood had a slight gloss to it.

the Smart cars a kinda cool. my mom is as excited about alt-fuel/eco friendly cars as i am about mopars. (funny thing is she drives a 4L Jeep)
My mom had a Prius but she got in an accdent.. totaled it (suprise suprise). but she was fine. now she's looking at a smart car. Her first car new car was a 78 Civic with the 900cc engine. I told her that the smart car was just a fancy Civic... its about the same size, and comperable mileage... but i read the smart cars are pretty nice to drive... drive like a Merceses... dispite the fact that they would fit in the trunk of my S-Class.

I don't know about that logic. She survives a crash in a small car so she wants to get one that's even smaller?

Jon Smith

Actually they hold up surprisingly well in a crash, i've seen videos of them hitting a concrete barrier at about 70 mph and it survives a hell of a lot better than the 40 year old muscle cars we all drive about in would, the passenger compartment hardly deformed at all
still looks daft though...
