As of today it was made evident that the society of Naastenliefde, Vrijheid en Diversiteit (Freely transluated to: Neighboringlove, Freedom and Diversity) has announced that it will become a political party and will be there for the upcoming elections.

Well not very interesting one might think, just another small party like many others that never stand a chance. But this one actually has points on it's agenda that really cause you to scratch your head. Here are some of the points:
-Free basic health care
-Free public transportation
-Lower taxes

All pretty nobel thoughts one could think... (completely out of touch with reality but aside from that, who wouldn't want that) Than there are also these points on their list:
-Legalisation of hard and soft drugs
-Discrimination should be allowed

Here the head scratching begins and than they come up with this:
-Legal age for sexual contacts to be lowered to 12 years old at first and later on there should be no limit.
-Porn should be broadcasted on TV during the day (hardcore at night)
-Legal age to work in the porn industry to be lowered to 16 years old
-Prostitution legalised with an legal age of 16 years old
-It is allowed to walk around naked any time any where
-The collection of childporn for private use is allowed
-Sexual acts with animals is legalised

I wonder how many votes they'll get. Not mine for sure, but there are a lot of sick people out there. Btw the founders of the society are pro childporn and sexual acts with children. They are looking into getting the party banned before it is even instated (sp?).

According to Wikipedia the NVD (Naastenliefde, Vrijheid en Diversiteit) is a political party in the Netherlands. This doesn't surprise me. It seems that Europe is sliding down a slippery slope that is leading to the development of a culture that is supportive of people like this. Not because they like the ideas of these people, but because they are so stuck on the idea of equality that they are willing to show equal respect to people who are openly pedophiles. If this were to happen in the US they would be shot before they got anywhere. Because even if the law saw them as equal... the citizens would not. Call if cowboy mentality. But it lets me sleep well at night.

I am just wondering how on earth they got 30 declarations of support in each of the 19 voting districts. I mean they must have a pretty good network. I don't think they'll make it, it would be really sad if they did. They won't get my vote that's for sure, but there are too many sick people out there to say they will never get in. I don't know, I like the name calling though. The one is calling the other perv while the other calls him a judgemental sob. Nice, makes politics more interesting.

BTW Ponch that is what porn network is for.... I personally don't have to have porn on the regular tv channels, if I want to watch porn I either watch that specific channel or buy (download) a DVD.

Honestly you'd be surprised how many people are pedophiles or sexual perverts. It doesn't surprise me at all that they got the support. It isn't to far fetched at seeing them getting elected because there is alot of sick people. Some people will say their against it to you face but they'll go and vote for these perverts anyways. they do have a couple ideas i like, but deffinately not the stuff that alows messin with kids and sex at 12 thats just freekin sick! leagalising drugs and prostitution allows for its taxation...most likely that alone would cover the health care plans. im on the fence on the public nudity and porn on tv..i would like it , but that stuffs not for kids to be seeing..and then there is the idea of walking through walmart ans some of those people nude would just not be a pretty sight!

Personally I think they should make prostitution legal. Clean it up. Take it off the streets. Take the KIDS out of it. Take the pimps out of it. Make a special door for the men of the cloth so we don't have to hear about them on the news anymore..   Maybe it would take some crime off the streets: Child molesting, rape, bitchslapping, (that was for Mojo).  And just think, it's a job that many AMERICANS WILL do....

30 years ago the reaction was the same for homosexuality and homosexuals and the responses that you wrote could have been written 30 years ago about gays. Now your responses if they were written about gays would get you branded as bigots and homophobes and possibly jail time and labeled a hate crime.

Give this about 10 more years, as I don't think it will take as long, for this become acceptable. It's interesting that it started in the Netherlands were they are more open sexually.

As a matter of fact it will eventually become more and more common place as people like the ACLU defend the members of NAMBLA and think that all pornography no matter what the content is protected under the 1st Amendment freedom of speech. We have US college professors now that think that abortion should be an available options up to 2 years AFTER the birth of a child.

So over time your revulsion to this will be slowly chipped away and when more and more people have more "open minded" discussions about this topic you will find it more out in the open. And believe me the discussions are already taking place, in places like colleges where the subject can be "discussed in a non judgemental atmosphere without the usual constraints of the religious repressive organizations like the church" as a barrier for open minded discussion.

And NO I am not defending these people. I am just pointing out the obvious.
