Lokar throttle cable

I have the Bouchillon kickdown cable on the Edelbrock Pro Flo, and now I need a throttle cable since the stock one is a few inches short. Is this Lokar cable a good option?

I think I can bolt it onto the firewall, and use the ball end at the gas pedal if I remove the clevis. I just need to find another one of those little caps that fits under the ball end on the gas pedal bracket. I misplaced mine...
