Is it a bad switch if I hit the headlight dimmer and my volts drop from like 14 to 12?

It shouldn't. But bad contacts, ground or alternator failure could. Do you still have the ammeter?

Is the radiator core support ground spot (that where headlights takes their ground) clean and tight?

No ammeter, its a pretty clean/ new switch, i'll double check that everything is snug, just replaced dash harness this past week. Also noticed when brushless electric fans kicked on the headlights went out for a few seconds then came back on, looks like volts dropped when fan kicked on
