I love the way this thing sounds.
Anyone have any idea on his specs to get it sounding like that ?
Stroker kit ?

Kern Dog

A long stroke crank makes no difference in the sound of an engine.
The raspy sound is directly related to camshaft timing. Long duration, long overlap and high lift will result in that choppy sound at idle. It is a byproduct of incomplete combustion. High performance camshafts often trade low speed efficiency with strong gains in high RPM power. This means that to take advantage of that high RPM power capability, you need cylinder heads that can flow enough to work well with the camshaft.
Slipping a rowdy cam into an engine with low compression and stock heads is a big mistake. The engine will have less torque than stock and feel like a slug at low speeds.
