seems like whenever someone posts a link to video from this site, I cannot play it.  If I open AOL, I can.  but AOL is slow as poopy so I don't like using it.

Are there settings I can change?

i have to do that too...that reason right there is the only reason i still have internet exploder...errr...explorer on my computer...so i can watch certain videos that are posted here

later  :icon_smile_cool:
Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

someone has to know of a fix for this.  maybe it's a byproduct of the fact that I never get popups using firefox.  maybe it's a little too careful of what it allows....

I think that's probably the case, mine won't play most media files either. There probably are some downloads available, but I haven't looked into it. I'm fine with switching to I.E. temporarily when I want to see something.
To me, the lack of popup BS that I have to deal with is worth the minor inconvience.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

agreed, it's actually nice not having my pc crash once a week.

I've been using the beta version of Internet Explorer 7 for more than a month and can view files I was not able to with Firefox and Internet Explorer 6. I have yet to encounter any pop up or internet "exploder" issue and love the "tabs" feature.
Sixty-eights look great and the '69 is fine.
But before the General Lee there was me - Headrope.

dkn you mean you can't play streaming vids? I always have sound but no video after a clean firefox install. Google and install ' Java ' and it might work, it did for me.
