Quarter window adjustment - 69 Charger

2 questions.... one of my quarter window winders is slipping when I turn the handle- is there a way to adjust it without taking the whole regulator out?

And how do you adjust the window to get the top in/out. Have read other posts, and cant find an answer. This thing is driving me nuts 

Any advice appreciated,

Hey Dino....The handle isn't slipping, it's the mechanism, teeth arent lining up, can't see if it can be tightened / adjusted.

Oh gotcha. You may be able to fix that with the mechanism in place, but unless it's real easy I would just remove it. It doesn't take much at all.

How is it fixed in place? I'm really runnng out of time to do it today, car is booked for inspection tomorrow morning.
