Found a '64 Polara

First off no I didn't have a camera with me! Anyways when I was in town I noticed a weird back end of a car sticking out of a garage. Turned out to be a '64 Polara with a rebuilt 383 4bbl in it, push button automatic, and white bench seat interior, oh and a 2 door of course. The outside was a burgendy in color and although the car is fairly solid you can notice some bubbling in the rear quarters. The car runs really good and from what it looks like, it only needs a windshield to be insurable. The old man wanted $3500 but would accept $3000 CDN.

Looks like a neat car to add a couple big rear tires to and have some fun with! It's a pretty small car, about the size of a dart, and with a 383 it would move like a raped ape!

If it's really a 383 '64 Polara, it sounds like an absolute steal! You sure it's a '64 Polara? That's not really what one would consider a 'small' car- it's a B-body, at least it was in '64. Either way, for 3000 CDN... that's like , what, 500 US???

I'm not sure if the engine is correct for the car but it is a '64 Polara. It's not that big of a car though as the '67 Polara that I had seen at a car show.

of course it isn't as big as a '67,those are full sized cars,62-64 polara's/Fury's are B body's,they weigh about 36-3800lbs.  with a B block.

a 64 polara was what started my love with mopars...my mom got it from her dad who bought it new with a 383 4bbl in 64.  ours was a 4 door.   I did go like a raped bat too....

ok some of you guys are like jackals!  I've had 6 PM's asking me exactlly where this car is so I figured I'd just post it here for everyone! The car is in a town called Quesnel in British Columbia. I won't be giving you the house though....

Man, I would love to own a '64 Polara someday. That is probably the car I want most besides a Charger, I just love the look. Saw a gorgeous one on Friday night at a car show. It was an aqua color with a white/aqua interior. It had an Indy crate with a Strange Dana 60 and some polished/chrome Pro Stars. I'm afraid to say this but it almost looked better than a Charger. I mean it was just GORGEOUS! That was one of the sexiest cars I have EVER seen. Forgot the camera though so I don't have any pics .

Dad sold a '64 Sport Fury 383 4 speed last year. He still has a '65 Coronet 500 383 4 speed that has the same body style.
