Well summer just had to arrive on the same day as the show.  Was in the mid 90`s and miserable.  My daughter and I  ended up spending 8 hours driving and 1 1/2 hours at the show. Basically i just checked out the swap meet and the cars and split. I dont much care to sit in grandstands getting blistered, just to watch other people race.

Swap meet was of decent size but I didn`t see much that interested me. There certainly wasn`t much for 3rd Gen Chargers.  Seemed like Hemi cars were a dime a dozen. Lots of E-bodies. I only saw 1 3rd Gen Charger which was very disappointing to me.

here is some pics

Last pic.  Overall,  it was an enjoyable day spent with my daughter but I probably wont go back next year unless the weather is 10-15 degrees colder or  I can get someone else to do some of the driving.

Guess i missed the ones on the track. :-[   Come to think of it.........I did see a brown 72 Rallye.  After 4 hours of driving to get there.....  15 minutes after we got there my daughter started complaining that she was bored. I knew right then that it was going to be a short visit.

Yeah............I tried to con my 11 year daughter to go...........but she'd have no part of it. :rotz: I got there about 10:00 am and left about 2:30 myself........luckily I only live about a 10 minute drive from the event. I can sit on my front steps and just hear cars going down the track.

Last pic. Don't remember if the Bee won or not but the burnout was great! :icon_smile_cool:
