Another Superbird Family Memory!

 During the years from when I purchased the Superbird back in 1977 we have had
many family memories with it.
It's been in a few wedding party parades and other events!
So about a month ago one of our grandsons asked if we would drive
him and his date to the prom in the Superbird?
I told him that if the weather was good we would do it!
What is neat about this is that the school colors are the same as the Superbird!
The weather turned out great and we were able to do it!
The Superbird was a big hit as we drove up to the event.

That is awesome. I tried something similar three summers ago, with my daughter getting married. A couple days before, I backed out, because it was going to be extremely hot and humid. I knew my daughter and groom would roast in the un-air conditioned, black vinyl seat car, and they TOTALLY agreed. As it turned out, it was nasty hot out, and being an outdoor wedding, some people weren't handling the heat well. My daughter ended up sitting in the AC right up until "game time", and she was thankful for that luxury. It was a lost chance for a once-in-a-lifetime memory, however, it was a good call.
