My wife and I attended a pretty neat little car show in Mount Ida, Arkansas. The show is ran by a Mopar guy that has a warehouse full of hemi and six-pack cars so they get a pretty good Mopar turnout. We managed to finish first and second in the Mopar class. They take a pic of your car on the way in and put the pic on the trophy. Thought I would share the pics with you. My car looks a little better with the new Boyd Coddington wheels. I think I'll put those rallyes in storage for a while. I like this car show since it's a beautiful drive throught the Ouchita forest.

:o Nice!  What a way to start the year.

It seems the big wheels are becoming more accepted.  I remember posting a pic of a 17" Magnum wheel and having everyone dislike them.  That was 3 years ago tho, times a' changed.  I've been to 2 shows this year and the big wheeled rubber band cars are getting respect.

So who got first?  The better half?  :icon_smile_big:

She was beating me on a regular basis with her green car, but since I added the shaker and the Boyds, the tide has changed. I think I've burst her bubble. The problem is, she's planning her revenge by calling the hemi challenger convertible hers as soon as it's finished. My plan B is to get a hemi for the red cuda. In my book, a red hemi shaker cuda trumps a hemi challenger convertible...maybe. This has to stop, I'm going broke. We're gathering parts to build the two wing car clones now, her bird and my daytona. This rivalry isn't going to stop any time soon.
We've had more fun since the kids grew up, got married and moved out. We finally can afford to buy stuff now.

Wow, that is cool. Mt. Ida is only about 2 hours away from me! Wish I would have known!

It's about 100 miles from my house. Real nice drive. They put on a real nice small town show. I think the car count was around 150. Not a big show but there were several nice mopars.

If you're not going to the nats in August then don't miss the Branson 3 day show that's the same weekend. It's a lot of fun.

Hey Larry,

Both cars look really nice & I wouldn't know which one to pick if I had to since I like both colors on a Cuda. I'm up in the air on a color for my own '71, but leaning towards Panther Pink or Moulin Rouge since my daughter wants to see a pink car. (She wants purple stripes too, but I don't know about that.) The wheels look good by the way.
