Is there a source for a NOS limited slip rear end unit for 1969 Chargers? If no, any suggestions?

The NOS for '69 would be the B-W cone-type differential, weak and inferior to the earlier clutch-type. If you're gonna buy new, go with the clutch-type...it's inside the housing and nobody will be able to tell the difference.

I get that the Clutch type are 'better'.
However,
I disagree the cone-type are necessarily "weak" ? unless maybe a guy plans on beating it daily akin to a Red-Headed Step Child ?

Let's just maybe say "not as good" as the clutch type ? and if you've got your druthers maybe take the clutch type....
because
My factory original cone-type is 53 years old, UN-rebuilt with over 120,000 miles, and still lays with 2 Black marks whenever tasked ?

I'm with ya there. I had my cone type serviced and changed to 3.23 with a bunch of used parts. "Alan's Axel" in Palm Harbor FL. (26 years ago.) said he milled the cones a bit swapped out some springs and it's been fine.  :2thumbs:

You both missed the "if you're gonna buy new".

Meanwhile the good Doctor put out his own version of a Truetrac featuring 6 worm gears over the 4 as used in the Eaton which I put in the copper car and have been very happy with  :Twocents:
