Was in MCACN barn finds in 2017 along with our 68 hemi super bee. Was restored and unveiled a year later

Exactly this...

A lot of people with higher end cars like to put a repro tag on the car and keep the original one in a safe at home. The board in the barn find picture has the original fender tag pictures.

Yes, The original is safely locked away.
Current owner asked me to have a duplicate made after the restoration. He had a previous bad experience with an original tag being removed from another car he owns.

the car and owner are both well known.

I'm amused by the document pictured below the fender tag here that mentions limelight paint for some bizarre reason

I'm with those who feel that repro fender tags and door stickers add nothing of value, but I'm generally the odd duck that feels the same about date codes and paint dabs. whoever buys my car from my daughters after i pass on will have to correct and/or add those
