i recently found a guy who has 17 mopars for sale!!! everything from barracudas to roadrunners, satellites, chargers, dusters, challengers and a few convertibles...the whole lot for $20,000 canadian! i can hardly believe it, but i seen pics of the cars, talked to the guy, and i must get ahold of them. i was just wondering where i could find a guide to the value of muscle cars in different conditions because i may have to take a loan out to do this. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

The current issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines (June 2006) has a Mopar Price Guide in it with more than 600 cars.

20k for 17 Mopars is a good deal, even if they are all just no more than parts cars.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

austinpalibroda

thanks guys,

yeah it seems like an unreal deal to me...some of the cars are real rough, but theres a few that arent that bad...plus there are 2 or 3 convertibles, a barracuda and coronet and somethin else i think. the parts alone off all those cars would cover the expense of buying them. i'm not sure what will happen yet, if i dont end up with them, i'll let you guys know who it is  :icon_smile_big:

well the convert bacaruda is prolly worth 20 K by itself... regardless of condition.. pics man pics!  :icon_smile_wink:

austinpalibroda

haha i might be able to post a couple pics, i'll see what i can do

Makesure you have the right paper work for all the vehicles.................................remember the saying; "if it sounds like it's to good to be true, it probably is'nt" for some reason I think this "deal" has a wrinkle and/or catch to it - ya think?.    Good luck and keep us posted.

Are theses the cars that are located in Peace River Alberta? If theses are the cars they are presently listed for sale (c/w pictures) on the Canadian trader site. They look picked over. This is the site if anyone is interested.

Someone finds a potential deal, asks some questions and you go and "out" how to find the cars? Not cool. :slap:

The exact reason why I chose to pm him instead of blurting everything out on the thread.

You should still go for it.

yeah i'm still workin on it yet. i talked to a buddy of mine last night and hes working in alberta right now by edmonton.  we figured on getting a couple guys together to buy the lot.  only hard thing would be dividing the cars between us so who knows what we'll do.  the guy absolutely wont sell anything single, just the whole lot we both tried talking to him bout it.  it would be nice to get those cars out, its a shame to see them sit. i'd rather just get one or two and sell the rest or make deals with other people just to get some of those cars back on the road. anyways i'll keep it posted, i'm going to edmonton this weekend and maybe peace river to check it out.
