I picked up some better bucket seat yesterday for my second gen Charger
The seats also came with a buddy seat

Question  Will a buddy seat work with a floor shift 4 speed without a console ?

Not sure if you could order a set up like that from factory or will the arm rest get in the way of my elbow when shifting gears ?

My very first car was a 1968 Dodge Coronet 500, factory 383 4spd. car. Buckets with a buddy seat. I have also owned a 1968 Coronet R/T 4spd., buckets and buddy seat.
You know you are vintage when someone says, "Back in the day", and you can dispute their facts.

In 2012 I reluctantly passed on a '68 383-2 4 speed with buddy seat. Dang car still bugs me.

That is a good picture for my next question

I do not have any brackets to mount my buddy seat so will have to make something up

When the seat is mounted in the car how far back is it ?
Driver seat slide all the way back then mount it to line up with the front edge of the driver seat ?
