Hello....does anyone know if 1969 Charger R/T and SE packages could be ordered together?  Saw one advertised that way (a rough, rust bucket car) and wondered if those packages could be ordered together.

Thanks

JimShine

Yes, it was available. While not a whole lot of them were ordered, people have long recognized it was a good combination, so they have a higher than normal survival rate. What is hard to find is one that is still numbers matching.

Spend the money and do it right the first time, or spend more money and do it over, so it's right.

They are out there... just not a whole bunch of them in 1969, which I believe was around 4300 units with the "XS" R/T VIN and the "A47" code SE Special Edition Pkg

My 1969 Charger R/T SE is still 100% Numbers Matching throughout, in factory X9 Black with most all original parts still intact as well ?
440 Engine never been rebuilt still runs strong, Exhaust still original(new resonators/chrome tips added), and I'm lucky enough the Fender Tag and pristine condition Broadcast Sheet decode it exactly the same today as when new.... which the original owner(USN Fighter Pilot at Miramar and still alive) has great stories about when he Y14 code ordered it new in San Diego.
It's UN-restored and has very simply just been really well maintained/garaged.

It's a really nice, tight and quiet old car that runs great and is just a pleasure to drive.
