Update:  I'm experimenting on adding color.  Here's some pictures of the progress.  Pic of the machined blank, test 1 (color just ok), and test 2 (color nice and smooth).  We have a winner.

Very nice, but you've got to get rid of the Challenger exhaust tips and trailer hitch.
