Nice. I'll give some serious consideration to that car if it ever makes it into production with a realistic sticker price. Aside from the latest Mustang, this is the only other car I get excited over. At least until I see the price that is. It won't surprise me to see the 6.1 version with a sticker well over $40K, & then have the greedy dealership scum tack on a "market value surcharge" of another $15K to $20 K.

The thought I have right now, is that I would unload my 1995 F-150, make the 2004 Ram the daily driver, sell off something else like the Scamp to make room for a new Challenger at home. Maybe I'll even sell something else too.

It's funny how quick DCX was to make that mistake with the Magnum sedan and yet so hesitant to do it right with the new Challenger. It speaks volumes about the company's current mindset.

It's obviously a nice car that pays tribute to it's namesake; and I've been waiting to see a comparison picture like this one:

I still think the success will hinge on whether they'll offer a cheaper V6 base model or not. 

It would still be a big sales hit with only a V8, but they could sell a hell of a lot more of them in the '05 Mustang's $20-something price range than the $35K they're currently talking about.  (And more total Chally sales would help lower the price of V8 models too.)

Nice car considering what other choices there are on the market.I see DCX making this a $40G + , 10,000 unit ,rich man's toy though.They will all be spoken for before the first one is made.

is it just me, or does anyone else think the wheels are very cool looking, but on the big side?.  maybe it's the photos, but they look like 22's or maybe even a bit bigger.  I would like it better if it had 18's/19's and was lower.  still the best looking car  chrysler has put out since.....well...the last challenger/ebodies in 74!!!

Those wheels will probably not make production. 
Lots of concept cars roll around on much bigger wheels/tires than the actual production version.  It's all about the looks.

They might end up installing 17" rims or something as standard, but I doubt they'd use anything like the ones on the concept car.  (Expensive precision-made rims, huge unsprung weight, expensive tires, fender/chassis clearance issues, higher stresses on the suspension parts, etc.)

If they use the huge rims anywhere it will probably be as an expensive extra option and/or be reserved for the hi-po versions.

I think they should make it as a 2007 model. Get it out there for the public. The people are wanting one awfully bad, they should step up and make it already.

I know I love it. But then again against what other people think I do like the new chargers as well.
