charger door lock rod question

Ok, I'm looking for a passenger door locking rod that goes through the inside upper door pad and someone tells me that there for 68 only 1 year.

I was under the impression that 68-70 was the same- so can someone clarify if its 1 year only for a 68 Charger

also, any leads would be much appreciated as can't put my panels on until I get a new passenger locking rod

68 only thing
Think it would be the same on all 68 mopar cars or very close

In 69 they made them move it farther forward on the door so it made it harder to pick the lock by prying the glass open and pulling up on the lock knob

68 different than 69,70, due to knob location. any 68 b-body should work
